2005: Awarded the Erasmus University Charter by the European Commission, renewable for 6 years. IFITS has the right to request financial support from Europe to organise placements for students and teachers throughout different European countries.

Studying abroad with Erasmus+

Who can study abroad?

Any student nurse registered in his/her second or third year at IFITS.

How are the students selected?

Students who want to study abroad as part of Erasmus+ must write a letter of motivation and be successful at interview.

How long does a Erasmus+ placement last?

An Erasmus+ placement lasts for 2 months.

What do students do during Erasmus+?

During this time, the student nurse will complete a 2-month placement in a clinic.

Students are placed in one of our partner universities in Europe, in which nursing is taught in accordance with the university framework (using the Bachelor's degree/Master's degree/Doctorate system).

Are any grants available?

Each Erasmus student receives a grant from the European Union.
The amount varies depending on the destination university.

Studying at IFITS with Erasmus+

Who can study at IFITS under Erasmus+?

Any student nurse from a partner university to IFITS.

How are the students selected?

In accordance with their home university.

How long does a Erasmus+ placement last?

An Erasmus+ placement lasts between two and six months.

What do students do during Erasmus+?

Student nurses conduct a clinical placement and follow the training course at IFITS.

Are any grants available?

Each Erasmus student receives a grant from the European Union (enquire at your home university).
